§303.32 Scientifically based research.

Scientifically based research has the meaning given the term in section 9101(37) of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965, as amended (ESEA). In applying the ESEA to the regulations under Part C of the

Act, any reference to “education activities and programs”

refers to “early intervention services.”

§303.33 Secretary.

Secretary means the Secretary of Education.

§303.34 Service coordination services (case management).

(a) General. (1) As used in this part, service

coordination services mean services provided by a service coordinator to assist and enable an infant or toddler with

a disability and the child’s family to receive the services

and rights, including procedural safeguards, required under this part.

(2) Each infant or toddler with a disability and the

child’s family must be provided with one service

coordinator who is responsible for--

(i) Coordinating all services required under this
